City of Annapolis, Annapolis Recreation & Parks – Branding implementation and construction is nearing completion.
In 2008, 818 Studio created a new brand identity and marketing collateral for Annapolis Recreation & Parks Department for its new Recreation Center at Truxton Park, now under construction. 818 Studio President, Keith Johnston, toured the facilities—designed by Alt Breeding Schwarz Architects—along with ARPD Director, LeeAnn Plumber, and her staff. Telling stories that compel people enough to react and then to give is more critical in the nonprofit world where resources are slim, funding is scarce, but passion runs deep. Knowing this, 818 Art Director and cancer survivor, Margy McArdle, saw the opportunity to blend her own cancer experience into effective marketing strategy, branding and collateral materials for Wellness House of Annapolis, an organization providing non-medical support for cancer patients and their families.
